As the 2026 FIFA World Cup draws closer, the 16 host cities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico are in the final stages of preparation for what promises to be the largest and most ambitious World Cup in history.

For the first time, 48 teams will compete in the tournament, up from 32 in previous editions. The group stage will feature 16 groups of three teams, with 104 matches played over 39 days???the longest World Cup ever.
Key Venues
MetLife Stadium in New Jersey will host the final, while the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and AT&T Stadium in Dallas will host semifinals. SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and Azteca Stadium in Mexico City are among the most anticipated venues.
